A leg style gaining popularity at Osborne Wood Products, Inc. recently is the Farm Dining Table leg in both the 3 inch (1020) and 3 1/2 inch (1121) widths. Perhaps the most recognized silhouette in the industry, the Farm Table leg features a classic “lamb’s tongue” transition from the square to the turning. It is also available as part of the dining, end, and coffee table leg ensembles here at Osborne. The leg is popular partially because it is so easily adaptable to many different styles in various rooms of the home. It can easily be made to fit either a rustic or contemporary setting simply depending on the type of finishing technique. (To see a more rustic use of the Husky Farm Dining Table Legs from a recent blog post, please click here). Customer Dylan B. of Holtsville, New York, recently ordered four of the Husky Farm Dining Table Legs (1121) in knotty pine for a kitchen table he was creating. The beautiful table can be seen here. Thanks, Dylan, for the picture!

The Knotty Pine Husky Farm Dining Table Legs & Kevin's Reclaimed Lumber Tabletop Give This Table a Beautiful Rustic Appeal!
Customer Kevin G. and his wife recently moved into their new house in Alachua, Florida, and needed a small table to fit a smaller space in their new home. Kevin didn’t have a lathe to make the leg, but he wanted to build the tabletop from reclaimed lumber he owned. Kevin decided to give Osborne Wood Products, Inc. a try by ordering a table base kit. He ordered four Husky Farm Dining Table Legs (1121) and a skirting kit for a 72 x 27 inch tabletop with a 3 inch overhang and a square profile in knotty pine. Kevin was amazed at how quickly and easily the kit came together, and the lovely result can be seen here. Thanks, Kevin, for the great picture, and good luck with the new home!

There’s nothing we here at Osborne Wood Products, Inc. enjoy more than helping a customer achieve the long-awaited and anticipated change to their home that they have waited for. Recently, we received a before & after picture from customers Robert & Elizabeth C. of Scituate, Massachusetts, of just this very thing.
Since moving into their home 17 years ago, Elizabeth had always felt their was something lacking about her fireplace mantle, thinking it appeared to be “floating” in space above the fireplace. To solve this problem, Elizabeth’s husband Bob ordered two Athens Bar Corbels (8020) in the paintgrade rubberwood. However, Elizabeth & her husband successfully stained the corbels, and the lovely before & after picture can be seen here. So glad we could help you fix the mantle, Elizabeth, and thank you for the pictures!

“The theater! The theater! What’s happened to the theater?” queries Danny Kaye in the classic movie, White Christmas. In the case of the Oakton Community College Performing Arts Center in Des Plaines, Illinois, it’s just gotten a whole lot better thanks to Anthony C.’s purchase from Osborne Wood Products, Inc. Anthony ordered six of Osborne’s Colonial Dining Table Legs (1001) in knotty pine for a prop table appearing in the Performing Arts Center’s production of Kita Y Fernanda this past March. Constructed with pine stock, the Osborne legs, and tiles to create an authentic Hispanic feel, the table featured throughout the play can be seen here. Thanks for the picture, Anthony, and we wish the Performing Arts Center success in all their future endeavors!
