In a world full of large corporations and products manufactured by the thousands, there is a special feeling that comes with a handmade item, customized by you for your home.  Businesses that can do this for you, make something unique and loved, are not easy to come by.  But there is one such company nestled in the hills of New Hampshire, and Osborne is honored to have them as a long-standing and valued customer.

A Vintage Wren

A Vintage Wren is owned, managed, and worked solely by Justin, his wife Jen, and their son Ian.  They specialize in traditional farm tables and tables in the minimalistic Shaker and modern Industrial styles.  Justin started the family business to get away from the negative corporate environment, and return to the creative side of woodworking that he loved.  Jen, an artist, designed and drew the wren logo herself.  She also manages the office side of their business. Their son helps in the shop, and in addition also designs, builds, and sells his own handcrafted furniture pieces.

As a small business, working one-on-one with customers to create a unique piece for their home is an eessential element of each job.  High quality and the customer’s happiness are the main things that Justin worries about.  He loves to see the satisfaction his customers have in the finished products; something that they helped to pick out and customize and is now a reality.  Every piece they create has a story, and are all hand signed with a label applied to the underside with the family’s name on it.  Every piece is worked on with love and care.

In a world full of manufactured sameness, A Vintage Wren dares to stand apart.  And Osborne Wood is proud to be able to help them do this in our own small way!
