Butcher Block Extension using Osborne Fusion Legs
One of the most exciting and unique product lines offered at Osborne is the Fusion line. The fusion line consists of island and vanity posts featuring a delightful combination of wood and metal. The island post itself is constructed of wood. The accents of the post are made of metal, available in a variety of finishes including: brushed nickel, stainless steel, brushed aluminum or copper, gun metal gray, flat black, and more. The harmony of the elements is astounding as the final product is able to match both cabinetry (wood) and appliances (metal).
Today, I would like to feature a project from our customer Wayne W of Florida. Wayne recently began a project to add a butcher block to extend his kitchen island. The block called for something unique, something with character, that would still support the large block design. The Conway Fusion Leg (Part #2406) was the perfect choice for the design. The contemporary square post finishes off with a brushed nickel sphere foot. Wayne used two of these legs in maple to complete his design.
Here is what Wayne told us about his project, “I installed a kitchen island butcher block that extends my current island. The way I did it is somewhat unique. The legs certainly finish off the project and compliments all the stainless steel appliances.” Wayne added, “I am very pleased with the product and I can say that Osborne Wood Products manufacture high quality goods. I’m impressed with the sales staff and your followup on my order. I will do business with Osborne again sometime in the future.”
Thank you for sharing your project with us Wayne. The photos are great and the butcher block looks wonderful! Enjoy!
