Recently, we received some terrific finished project photos from customer Cathy R. of East Tawas, Michigan, of her kitchen island remodel. Cathy’s beautiful kitchen was built in 2007 with Kraftmaid cherry cabinets. The 75 inch wide kitchen island, however, had a not-so-appealing veneer that did not match anything else in the kitchen.
Cathy creatively used solid cherry v-groove panels and cherry 5 1/2 inch baseboards to recover the surface of the kitchen island. As a finishing touch, she ordered two Athens Mission Corbels (Part #8023) in cherry to support her new countertop. The beautiful results can be seen here. Thanks, Cathy, for the great pictures!
