How to Install a Threaded Insert into your Wood Furniture

Posted on May 16, 2019September 19, 2022 By sarahosbornewood
  1. To install the threaded insert into your wood furniture, pre-drill a hole with a bit that is smaller than the insert’s 1/2″ threading (approximately 7/16″).
  2. Screw the insert into the hole with an Allen wrench.
  3. Once the threaded insert is installed, your 5/16″ threaded bolt will fit into the corresponding insert.
