Matching End & Coffee Tables Using Reclaimed Heart Pine

Posted on April 26, 2019August 23, 2022 By osborneoffice

Our friend Debra at RVA Historicals always shares the most intriguing and unique furniture pieces. We love reading about her projects and what historic pieces play a role in the design. Today is no exception!

Debra recently shared photos with us of a matching end table and coffee table shadow box. The end table features the Osborne Colonial End Table Legs (Part #1201). The coffee table shows off a matching design in the Colonial Coffee Table Leg (Part #1301).

Reclaimed End Table

Here’s what Debra said about the project: “The end table has a Virginia Heart of Pine attic wood top and skirting is also antique Virginia Heart of Pine salvaged from a home built in 1858. The coffee table features an antique wavy glass window, circa 1880. The inside deck is antique 4″ Heart of Pine flooring from the 1840’s. Both pieces have a distressed chalk paint finish– Dixie Belle Fluff with Grunge glaze.”

As you can see, the pair is absolutely stunning! And how cool is it to have a piece of that history?! Beautiful work as always, Debra. Thank you for sharing your photos with us!
