Osborne’s Mission styled products are some of our most popular, for their streamlined yet colonial feel. Mission furniture has been around since the late 19th century when the Arts&Crafts movement was popular, and is also commonly known as ‘shaker style’.
Our friend Stephanie of Zermanek Marine Services used two of Osborne Wood Product’s Square Mission Island Legs (part #1745) in her recent master bath remodel. The legs were given a rectangular split (which can be done to all of our legs) and placed them on the front of the bathroom counter to support the granite countertop. In a dark walnut stain, the mission legs lend a highly modern element in the room. The minimalistic geometric styling also lends to the contemporary vibe on a traditional shaker leg, and gives the counter an elegant and timeless design.
