Our friend Lindsay over at My Creative Days decided that her kitchen was in need of a makeover. With a farmhouse style inspiration, Lindsay set to work creating her dream kitchen island. Lindsay started with the current “bar” and added wainscoting for a more farmhouse feel. She also tested her paint on the bar, which would later be used on her cabinets.
After adding paint to the cabinets and walls and installing new flooring, Lindsay’s kitchen looks brand new! For an accent to the new and improved kitchen island, Lindsay chose the Osborne Boston Bar Bracket with Beaded Edge (Part #80281). She chose Hard Maple, allowing her the option to either paint or stain the corbels to match her finished kitchen. She added a stunning natural stain as a finish, adding a delightful element to the charcoal island.
Be sure to read more about Lindsay’s kitchen transformation on her blog.
