The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers Fair took place July 25-28, 2023 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. One of the largest events in the woodworking industry, AWFS hosted over 450 exhibitors this year. Various members of the Osborne team were able to attend the event and interact with the thousands of attendees.
“Known as the industry’s innovation marketplace, AWFS Fair is the ‘go to’ event for thousands of woodworking manufacturing professionals who need cutting-edge solutions to make their operations more competitive and more profitable,” states the nonprofit organization’s website.
The fair offered an incredible opportunity to meet existing and prospective clients. Showcasing several new products and a new booth design, Osborne’s team received encouraging feedback from the attendees while making meaningful business connections.
“We had a lot of people interested in the new moulding and our overall booth presentation,” said Jonah Chambers, visual marketing specialist at Osborne. “There was also a surprising amount of people impressed that we sell directly from our website with no minimum order quantity.”
Along with conversing with the show attendees, the Osborne team was able to experience what else the show and its exhibitors had to offer throughout the week.
“The show was filled with ceremonies, awards, and learning what’s new out there,” noted Diana Jackson, customer service representative at Osborne. “I had the opportunity to experience many different exhibits. It was truly interesting to see what is new and innovative.”
One of the highlights of this year’s event was the award ceremony for Wood Industry’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2023. Jonah was named a member of the Class of 2023 in June and was recognized at a banquet held the evening before the show.
Other highlights included excitement over the company’s new product catalog and the release of several digital catalogs that are easily accessible online. Overall, the event was a success for the Osborne team.
AWFS is scheduled to return to Las Vegas in July 2025. It is one of several industry events Osborne attends each year, including an upcoming show in October. Come visit Osborne
