I love seeing projects from our customers that include reclaimed wood planks, logs, or even pieces. The history and authenticity of the wood is intriguing. Just think, the piece of wood that makes up a table could be 100+ years old! How cool is that!?
Today, I’d like to share a table project from Norman H. that is created from river reclaimed cypress that could be around 100 years old. Norman chose to use the Osborne Farm Dining Table Leg (Part #1020) in cypress with a table base kit. The base kit was built to the specifications for his table, and included the four legs with bolts installed, apron pieces with mortise and tenon joinery, corner blocks, and hardware.
The table was finished with Danish oil for a beautiful natural finish, showing off the natural grain of the wood. The table is the perfect size for a dining room accent table, and adds both beauty and functionality to the space.
Thank you for sharing your photos with us Norman! Enjoy your beautiful table.
Do you have reclaimed boards or planks you are interested in making into a table? Osborne offers made to order table base kits to perfectly fit your table top!
