Reeded Moulding Creates Exciting Texture for Double Doors

If you are looking for a unique and eye-catching way to dress up a wall or a door, we think you will love this very creative use of our Carved Reeded Moulding, part 88991140. The moulding is 96″ long and 2″ wide. You may be asking yourself how such a large surface area could be covered with just a 2″ wide moulding, and although it may not be obvious in the photo, the panel-look was achieved by placing many 2″ strips of moulding side by side until the entire area was covered! With just a little patience and about 20 strips of moulding, you can put together a reeded panel that is sure to impress.

Do you see how additional architectural interest was achieved by framing shorter reeded strips in the center of the door? Also, we really admire how the shorter center section is centered with the doorknobs. Both doors were finished off with some classic crystal doorknobs and hardware, and we couldn’t be more impressed. These doors make such a great statement in this customer’s entryway

Our beautiful moulding types include anywhere from our large crown moulding to our delicate small pearl moulding. Try using some of our amazing Panel Moulding to create incredibly detailed panels and on your cabinets or doors. Or protect your home in style with our chair rail moulding. The chair rail mouldings are perfect for adding interest to your home while protecting your walls from everyday wear and tear your furniture can cause.
