Stunning Heirloom Island Features Petite Corbels for Embellishment

Osborne Wood Products is proud to share this gorgeous island creation, courtesy of our friends over at Love in 1000 Square Feet. They knew exactly what kind of look they wanted for their island, and did a lot of research to make sure that just the right parts and construction details were included that would result in the island of their dreams. They ordered Osborne’s St. Simons Island leg, Part# 1468 and Osborne’s Petite Acanthus Leaf Corbel, part# 892020, in hard maple. We really admire how nicely the small acanthus corbels embellish the island with just the right amount of decoration, without being overpowering. And notice the clever way that they added the bottom shelf of the island by splitting the island foot from the bottom of the post, and then added it to the bottom of the island shelf–well done!

In love with this design? Why not add St. Simons Island legs to your next project?! They come in 34.5, 35.5, and 40.5 heights, and are also available with or without the fluting along the leg turning. Add a look of elegance to your kitchen today with these quality turned legs!

Osborne Wood Products carries a diverse line of island legs that vary from the simple Shaker and Mission styles to a lovely selection of turned legs, and even some that include delicate hand- carving. Most of our island legs are available in at least ten wood types, sanded to 150 grit and ready to finish. These skillfully crafted legs are sure to find a home in your next design.

Island legs come completely unfinished without any holes or hardware. However, with Osborne’s millwork and installation services you are guaranteed a perfect fit! Work directly with a customer service representative to determine if your island leg needs hardware installed, a chamfer, or other services to simplify your design process.
