At Osborne Wood Products you can find everything you need to create the perfect table. From table legs, to base kits, pedestals, tabletops, slides, hardware and more, Osborne is your one stop shop for your table building needs. In fact, building an extension table has never been easier! Whether your table is fixed based with a pedestal or features four table legs, our friendly customer service staff can assist you in finding just the right table slide for the job.
But don’t just take our word for it. Meet our friend Rex. Rex recently designed and built an absolutely stunning pedestal extension table for his home. Rex told us that he is a retired dentist. He mentioned that “dentists work in millimeters and strive to have our professional work “perfect”. ” With such high expectations for his work, Rex put extreme care into every part of this table. As you can see, the attention to detail is clear in the beauty of this piece!
Rex built his table using the Osborne Traditional Pedestal Base Kit (Part #1178) in Red Oak. This kit included the traditional center, matching feet, and hardware for flawlessly assembly. Rex also chose an equalizer slide to enable his fixed base table to extend. He chose the 50″ Equalizer Slide with a 49″ opening (Part #9052) to accommodate the leaves.
Rex told us that his wife loves the table! He says, “We have been married for 52 years and she is my greatest cheerleader.” We love the table too Rex! Thank you so much for sharing your project with us!
