When functionality and mobility combine, the results are a fantastic asset to the home. Let’s take a look at a great design from our customer Richard K. Richard created a moveable kitchen island piece that can easily compliment any space.
The island is supported by four Grand Island Posts (Part #1455). The post features a top block sufficient for adding large drawers, shelving, or cabinetry. In this project, Richard utilized the extra space to create a storage application. As you can see, the top block of the post was the perfect size for this design.
Richard also added wheels to the bottom block of the legs. The legs are perfectly balanced, allowing the wheels to move the island freely. The design also allows room for two 30″ high stools for eating and sitting. Great work Richard!
