New Sofa Legs Add Style to Dated Sofa

Posted on February 3, 2020July 28, 2022 By Helen Walters No Comments on New Sofa Legs Add Style to Dated Sofa

Do you have a couch or sofa that needs a quick makeover? If so, think about using some stylish Osborne chair or sofa legs! In just a few minutes you could take your furniture from boring to fabulous by attaching any of our beautiful furniture legs.

Our friend Lynn has an inspired blog “NourishandNestle.com” where she shares her creative DIY genius. When she inherited a nice, but outdated sofa, she knew just how to turn it into a snazzy piece of furniture.

She recovered it with a great fabric that worked well for her room (and her pets!), removed the skirting, and added five of the Ashton Chair Legs (Part #6165). The legs also added a much-need extra 3 inches of height to the couch! Lynn stained the legs with a protective finish that complemented the furniture and the other items in the room.

And here is the updated sofa, with the bottom skirt removed and 5 of our sofa/chair legs added. We installed a hanger bolt on each leg for a quick, easy attachment. We think that her new sofa has a lot of pizzazz with the jazzy, exposed legs! Thanks very much for partnering with us on this build Lynn, and we hope your “new” couch works well for you!
